Wright’s article about Paul Otlet and the Universal Decimal Classification was astonishing. This classification system is so advanced with the way that it maps relationships between different ideas. This seems like such an important facet of a classification system, especially in todays day and age, where so many ideas are interdisciplinary. This is the perfect way to be able to spread more information to users. Why have more libraries not tried to implement this system?
I also really liked that this system had been translated into over 30 languages. It is extremely popular in other countries, and just helps to further organize and share information in a similar format.
